学者にして、書家でもある魚住が、日本の書に関わる、通説に大胆に挑戦した。

聖徳太子が書いたといわれる、三経義流は、日本人には書けない書体だった。空海の風信帖は、王羲之の書法をもとに書かれており、一部で言われている、顔真卿の影響はなかった、など。

１つ１つ、説得力のある根拠を上げながら、従来の通説を打ち破っていく。読みながら、心地よい爽快感を感じる。

それにしても、この本を読んで、日本においても、王羲之の影響力は、圧倒的なものがあったのだと、改めて思い知らされた。

Uozumi, a scholar and Sho writer opposes common opinions like Syotoku Taishi and Kukai's writings.

He probes his idea by explaining some persuasive facts. I felt refreshing my thought by reading this book.

And I found how Wang Xizhi has influenced the history of Japanese writings much from this book.
