白洲正子 私の百人一首（新潮文庫） My Hyakuninn Isshu by Masako Sirasu

一般の人向けに、百人一首の内容をわかりやすく紹介する、という内容の本ではない。書名の通り、白洲正子が、自分の関心や独自の視点から、百人一首を論じている。

内容は、一言で言えば、貴族的。自分の関心で、肝心のその歌から離れ、別な歌を紹介したり、別な人物を紹介したりと、白洲正子ワールドが炸裂している。

白洲正子のファンにとっては、たまらない一冊だろうが、この本を、百人一首の入門的に考えている読者にとっては、やや不親切な内容になっている。

百人一首の本というよりは、白洲正子という人物が、古代から中世にかけての、和歌を中心にした貴族の社会、文化をどのように考えているか、についての本であるといえる。

This book is not for beginner of Hyakunin Isshu, but for senior or fun of the author.

Shirasu describes her interest to Hyakunin Isshu and the author of each Waka by explaining another Waka sometimes.

This book is not about Hyakunin Isshu. This book tells us how Sirasu thinks of the culture and society of Japanese ancient and middle age through Hyakunin Isshu.
